The data controller for data processing in the advisor portal is:

2. Scope
This privacy policy applies to the advisor portal at berater.bizzqui.com. Separate privacy policies apply to the website www.bizzqui.com and the BIZZqui app.
This privacy policy is addressed to users in Switzerland and the EU/EEA. Where provisions of the GDPR are applicable, the corresponding legal bases are stated in addition to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
3. Data We Process
3.1 Registration and Authentication
When registering, we collect your surname, first name, email address, a password, your company name and your country. Optionally, you may provide a telephone number. Authentication is carried out exclusively via email and password through Supabase Auth. Login via Apple or Google is not offered in the advisor portal.
Your email address is confirmed during registration via a verification email. This email is sent via SendGrid (Twilio Inc.).
Legal basis: Performance of contract (Art. 31 para. 2 lit. a FADP / Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
3.2 Mandate Management and Listing Content
As an advisor, you may create mandates and assign your own designations (mandate number, headline). You may upload listing images and documents for each mandate. This content is stored in Supabase Storage in Switzerland and is visible to app users with whom a match or partial match exists (see section 3.3). It is not publicly accessible and not freely searchable.
3.3 Matching, Visibility and Disclosure of Your Data
Your mandates are matched with buyer profiles in the app via the matching algorithm. In the event of a match or partial match, app users can see the mandate data (headline, description, listing images, documents). In the event of a complete match (mutual like), app users additionally see your first name.
Via a feature toggle in the portal, you may optionally release further details for matched app users: surname, self-description, years of experience, specialisation, a public email address, telephone number and a profile image. Whether and which of these details are displayed is determined by you. This data is displayed exclusively to matched app users and is not publicly accessible.
Conversely, as an advisor, in the event of a match with a buyer, you can see their profile data (industries, regions, capital range, description, etc.) in the same way as displayed in the app. In the event of a complete match, the buyer's first name is additionally displayed. You do not have access to email addresses, full surnames or other contact details of app users.
3.4 Notifications
You receive a weekly Broker Weekly Report by email (via SendGrid). This contains aggregated key figures on your mandates as well as the mandate numbers and headlines assigned by you. The report does not contain any personal data of app users. The notification logic operates as a digest (consolidated summary), not as a real-time notification.
3.5 Messages
After a complete match, as an advisor you may exchange messages with app users via the portal. Messages are stored in Supabase in Switzerland and are protected by access control at database level. Transmission is encrypted (TLS). End-to-end encryption of message content is not provided.
Your first name is visible to the other party in the chat (as well as any further details you have released via the feature toggle, see section 3.3).
Upon account deletion, your sent messages remain visible to the other party. The chat will be marked with a notice that it has been closed. Upon request to datenschutz@bizzqui.com, your messages can also be deleted for the other party.
4. Hosting and Processors
The advisor portal is hosted via Vercel (region eu-central-1, Frankfurt, Germany). When accessing the portal, server log data is automatically processed (IP address, browser type, timestamp). The backend runs on Supabase (region eu-central-2, Zurich, Switzerland).
Supabase Inc. – Database, authentication and backend. Processes advisor profile data and mandate data. Server location: Zurich, Switzerland (eu-central-2). Basis: Data processing agreement.
Vercel Inc. – Hosting of the advisor portal. Processes server log data (IP address, browser type, timestamp). Server location: Frankfurt, Germany (eu-central-1). Basis: Data processing agreement.
Twilio/SendGrid – Emails and Broker Weekly Report. Processes email address and first name. Server location: USA. Basis: Standard Contractual Clauses, EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. International Data Transfers
Your data is primarily processed in Switzerland and in Germany (Supabase in Zurich, Vercel in Frankfurt). Where SendGrid processes data in the USA, this is done on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Switzerland recognises EU/EEA member states as countries with an adequate level of data protection.
6. Retention and Deletion
Upon account deletion, all your profile data, mandate designations, mandate assignments and your account are deleted immediately. Excluded from this are messages you have sent to app users (see section 3.5). You may delete your account at any time via the portal.
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
Right of access (Art. 25 FADP / Art. 15 GDPR), right to rectification (Art. 32 FADP / Art. 16 GDPR), right to erasure (Art. 32 FADP / Art. 17 GDPR), right to data disclosure or data portability (Art. 28 FADP / Art. 20 GDPR) and, where the GDPR is applicable, right to object (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise your rights, please contact datenschutz@bizzqui.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. For Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). For users in Germany, this is the competent state data protection authority.
8. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, in particular encryption during transmission (TLS), access control at database level (Row Level Security) and regular review of our security measures.
9. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time. The current version is available at www.bizzqui.com/legal/berater/datenschutzerklärung.
