A good profile tells enough to spark interest, while protecting sensitive details. The right balance decides the quality of your inquiries.
Before a match, others only see your headline and the key facts, not your name. So you decide yourself how much you show.
How to present yourself well
1
Show your strengths
A loyal customer base, well-established processes and a healthy business are strong arguments. Name them in the headline and in your introduction.
2
Leave out the sensitive
The company name, exact address or customer lists don't belong in the public profile. You share these details only later in the chat.
3
Describe honestly
Describe in your own words what defines your company and why you want to hand it over. Calmly and without exaggeration, that builds trust.
4
Prepare documents
If you like, add additional information as a PDF. It isn't necessary, but it can help show your plan in more detail.
Frequently asked questions
How anonymous is the profile really?
It contains no details that make you or your business clearly identifiable. Only in the chat do you decide what you share.
What belongs in the headline?
The most important thing in one sentence: the type of business and what defines it. It's the first thing prospects see of you.
Should I upload a PDF?
That's optional. A document can deepen interest, but it isn't a must. Make sure it too contains no sensitive details you don't yet want to share.
